To administer an election, you must have installed the cryptoserver on a machine accessible to AdderGUI over the network. In /etc/cryptoserver.conf, you must specify a line with the administrator password as

admin_password mypassword
    

where 'mypassword' is replaced by a password of your choosing. Once your password is set, use AdderGUI to open a connection to the server, specifying your password as shown in Figure 5.1, “Connecting as an Administrator”.

Creating a Procedure

To create a new procedure, select the Create Procedure item as shown in Figure 5.2, “The Procedure Creation Option”. You will be presented with the Procedure Creation Wizard, which will guide you through the process of creating a new procedure.
